Terms of Use
Effective September 29, 2026. These terms govern use of the public Merindale website.
Informational website
The website provides general information about Merindale, its experience, services, and perspectives on clinical research operations. Website content is not a protocol, monitoring plan, regulatory submission, legal opinion, medical recommendation, or substitute for organization-specific professional advice.
No client relationship from website use
Viewing the site, sending an inquiry, or scheduling an introductory conversation does not by itself create a consulting, fiduciary, legal, or other professional relationship. A client relationship begins only when the parties enter into an applicable written agreement.
No patient care or emergency use
Merindale is not a patient-care service through this website. Do not use the website to seek diagnosis, treatment, emergency assistance, or participant-specific medical guidance. Do not submit patient-identifiable or protected health information through public website communications.
No guarantee of outcomes
Examples, experience metrics, frameworks, and recommendations on this site do not guarantee a particular activation timeline, enrollment result, revenue outcome, inspection result, regulatory outcome, or other performance result. Clinical trial performance depends on protocol design, patient population, institutional processes, sponsor decisions, staffing, competing studies, technology, regulatory requirements, and other factors that may be outside Merindale's control.
Accuracy and updates
Merindale works to keep public information accurate and useful, but research practices, sponsor expectations, regulations, technologies, and operational standards change. Website content may be updated, corrected, or removed without notice and should be evaluated in the context of the user's own study, institution, agreements, and applicable requirements.
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise identified, the site's design, written materials, original graphics, and Merindale branding are owned by or licensed to Merindale and may not be reproduced, republished, or used commercially without permission. Reasonable linking to public pages is permitted.
Third-party links and services
The site may link to third-party websites or use third-party services for hosting, typography, scheduling, communications, security, or other business functions. Merindale does not control the content, availability, security, or terms of those independent services.
Engagement-specific terms control
If you become a client, the applicable statement of work, consulting agreement, confidentiality agreement, data-processing terms, security requirements, business-associate agreement if applicable, or other written engagement documents control over these website terms for the subject matter they address.
Professional standards
Merindale's public Professional Standards describe the principles we intend to bring to client work, including accuracy, collaboration, participant protection, confidentiality, independence, and clear scope boundaries. Those principles do not replace engagement-specific contractual obligations.
Changes to these terms
Merindale may revise these website terms as the practice and site evolve. The effective date above identifies the current published version.
